Yeah you really did luck out there, that is a smoking deal.

Well I would really consider keeping an eye out for a f150 4x4 with a manual in it. They are pretty common and sometimes you can find them for dirt cheap, would be perfect for swapping a 5 speed into your truck.

And if the box is rust free, Ill even give ya a few bucks for it lol.

We actually have a ford truck (most of it) sitting in the back yard. Al bought it to use for parts for his bronco swap. He is putting a diesel in his.......took all the running gear off of it for his, including the tranny.......

Wait, your hubby is putting a diesel, in a ford bronco?! That would be one of the coolest swaps ever. You would have to keep us posted with the hiccups he runs into and stuff too.

Yeah he is putting a 7.3 in it, for now a D60 until he can get either mog axles or rockwells, and if the deal goes through he is putting 46"tires on it.....insane....

By the way, there is a 84 F250 box in the backyard that needs to go (like to the crusher in the next two weeks unless someone wants to buy it), very little rust.......hint hint

Ahh why couldnt it have been a box from an 87 and up! I would buy it in a sec if it was!

Hey Zip.....did you get a chance to go and check out that Bronco you saw at the wrecker there? I need to know first off what year, then I will know if it is any good to me....also how much?

Post that truck box on Kijiji out there or on the truck for sale section. A good or decent 80-86 truck box is hard to find. Someone would gladly take it if it has very little rust that can be fixed.
