20 Inch Tire option on 4X4
Has anyone experienced issues with the Perrelli tires that come as the tire on the 20 inch wheel/tire option on the F150 4 X 4?
I recently picked up my 08 FX4 with this option and have had problems with tire balancing and out of roundness of several of the tires. I'm interested if this is wide spread or if I just got a few bum tires.

I haven't had any problems per se, but I know that they lower the tow rating and that they are prone to get flat spots while sitting over night causing the car to have some vibration and harshness when driving the first few miles in the morning. To overcome the "flat spot" harshness inflate to 40 - 45 lbs.

I've got the 20's on my '06 Screw. Where I live (ND) they do flat spot alot in the colder weather but they even out after a few miles of driving. One thing I do notice is that the rims, due to their width, like to hold snow when you drive through snow banks which will in turn throw your tires out of balance and cause vibration also. I wish I would have stuck with the 18's on my truck since to me it seems that the 20's are wayyy to heavy and take alot of power to turn and don't brake as well. But one thing is for sure they look sweeeeet.

All interesting stuff. Here in Louisiana and Texas we don't get a lot of snow. Heck I've only seen the stuff maybe half a dozen times in my 55 years of livin'.
I may rethink the swap to 20s and keep my 18s and stock 18" chrome wheels. For the same money I can get the moon roof I've been wanting installed. But the 20s sure do look sweet, you're right about that.

Thanks
