I had a happening today with my '08 PSD. I took a right hand turn, it of course unlocked the TC, but after finishing the turn I accelerated again and the rpms went up a bit and the TC engaged rather harshly, with a clunk from this action. Anyone had this experience ??

Mine does it about twice a month in similar situations at lower speeds. Nothing bad has happened yet, but it worries me.

 

Actually, on my way home last night in freeway traffic (stop and go) the RPM's picked up and it the truck moved forward real fast with a clunk. It did sound like the converter locking up while the RPM's picked up. I have over 2000 miles on the truck and this is the first occurance..... This felt like it would be hard on the drive train.
