Dash/Knob question

Dash/**** question

To the left of the column, wipers - lights - left air, to the right of the column, right air - choke - blank - lighter - heater.

Just trying to figure out what the blank would have been used for.

i think it was for the throttle on the larger trucks (3/4 and 1 tons). mostly saw them used when the truck had a PTO to speed up the engine from idle or as my dad used to use it for, to warm it up faster on cold days.

not 100% sure, but that is my guess.

Also could be used for idling at a constant speed next to farm equipment. Combine etc.

Mine is set up in this manner;

Wipers-Lights-Left Air-Steering Column-Throttle-Choke-Right Air-Heater Switch

mine is set up the same way as COL FLASHMAN. except i have no steering column .
