Does anyone know how to change out the bulb(s) for the overhead console map lights. The lights that you push on / off. Thanks for any info. since the owners manual doesn't cover bulb replacemnet for that.
There was just a thread yesterday about some replacing them with Putco LEDS. Search for that and maybe the user, (I think it was JesseRohr) could help you out.

I was looking for info. about the map lights - not the overhead dome light. Concerning the reply about pulling the entire console down.... the entire console just to get to the 2 map lights? Are you sure this is how you access them? Thanks and hope to hear from as many 04-08 owners concerning my questions.
You should see a spot on the lens (outer edge) where a blade/S'driver may go as a prying/leverage point. Or in my case I was able to get the tips of my fingers under the lip and gently pulled.
Thanks Rich for the info. It's 9pm and dark out right now. But I will take a look in the morning. Do you have any idea what size bulb is used as a replacement? Are they available at Auto Zone or Advance or are they only available at the dealer? Thanks and hope to hear back from you.
Thanks for all the info. I took a meer 1 minute to pop off the overhead console cover and access the bulbs. WOW! Easy as hell! BUT!!!! Does anyone know where you can buy COLORED (preferably RED) replacement bulbs? I checked Advance Auto and as usual they only have clear bulbs. The bulb # is a 900 which was not in stock on the shelves. Any ideas besides the $70 kit from Putco? Thanks and hope to hear back from as many memners as possible.
