I'm Learnin..

I pulled off the air filter yesterday evening, I'm pretty sure its a K&N.
I cleaned it but didn't have any oil for it. I think I will replace it with a 6637..
The K&N makes me nervous, living on a gravel road and all..
Is there any advantage to leaving the Filter box add-on?

is this the coolant additive?

Agreed. Don't run that gauze filter dry. It will be no more effective than breathing through a t-shirt. I've got a can of filter oil I'll let you have. Holler at me this weekend if you want to, I'll give you a filter servicing kit and that grill if you want them.

I love Hanks, but Renee is out of town.....so I'll need someplace with a playland since I'll have both kids. Pretty much narrows it down to a McD's or a BK.

Shouldn't be an issue with that little drive Joe.

You're always welcome to hang out in the smoking section Andy.

I got the grill all cleaned up and put on the truck.. looks great. Thanks Scott!

I got the filter all cleaned up and put back on the truck, fired it up, and that hissing noise i mentioned was back...

I pushed around on the boots with my finger, when I pushed on the boot on the right, the hissing sped up and the idle changed.. so it would appear that boot is leaking..

Whats the deal. can those be tightened or do i need a new boot?

I Meant, the hissing got louder, not that it sped up..
