Radiator for my 65 f100 with 302
Im on the market for the best-cost effecient radiator for my 65 302.
the engine was bored 60 over....so id like to make sure it runs cool...
This company has a location in our town ...performance radiators.
here is a link
http://www.performanceradiator.com/
go to radiators section then ford
They have one for a 66 but i think they use the same.
there are aluminum and copper brass.
I was thinking of going with the 4 row alum.
what do you think?
have any better suggestions?

If you are using a motor driven fan, the 2 core aluminum will be more then enough, especially without A/C, imo. A one core aluminum is about the same as a two core copper, from my experience putting aluminum radiators in my vehicles.
The biggest radiator you can get in there would be one for a hd. 390 4wd (what I put in my 1971) though I have no idea of the hose locations. You can get new aftermarket shrouds for it though which is a huge plus. Without a proper fitting one or one that looks stock or nice, why bother with an aluminum aftermarket radiator? Nothing says cheesy worse then ties through the core to hold it on.
The aluminum with plastic side tanks will weigh much less then the copper core that is for sure.
