370 in a 79 f-150

370 in a 79 f-150

could i mate a 370 with a c-6? i know the bell housing will bolt up, but what about the torque converter,fly wheel, and starter? where could i find these parts?

370 in a 79 f-150

I don't see why you can't. I am trying to go the opposite way. 370 parts behind a 460, & so far it looks as if it is a bolt up.

370,429 & 460 blocks are all the same

throw out bearing for 370 & 460 OD are the same

only quest left seems to be, is the bolt patern on the end of the 370 crank, the same as a 460 crank.
