Hey sanddemon08, did your spartan diesel tunes include EGR delete? Also, is it true you can put it back to stock in 15 minutes?...if so, that's impressive.

Thumbs up

No egr delete, but i can change the dpf back in 15 minutes. The only bad thing is there is a cat in front of the DPF i did not count on. I left it on for know.

Milage with 150 HP dpf delete tune, keeping average boost around 12 PSI normal driving. About a 30% increase over stock.

City 14.5 MPG
HWY 20 MPG

I'm very happy with it

Shane, glad to see the mileage is up so much Results have been fantastic across the board in the economy department on the tuners shipped so far.

I got your voicemail - you can leave the cat or remove it at your discretion. As long as the sensors are in place you are free to do what you like with the entire system.

Matt, do your tunes help trans shifts? We put a bully dog in a 08 and the trans
was not shifting very good at all. ended up sending it back. so we buy the flash pac and then send it to you? can you tell mell the cost? if not can you private me with cost? I will make my own delete pipe.

Thanks

Not tryn to start a fight or anything. I have no beef with Spartan I think there a great company and will probably be purchasing from Matt shortly. but there are guys over on the powerstroke forum that are averageing over 20 mpg (around 23 i belive) With the KEM 150hp(I belive) tunes. It may just be a Fishermans lie but I have read about 4 or 5 peoples post over there that stated that.

I was not aware KEM had a tune over 120HP, at least there site does not show it. I'm a member of the powerstroke fourm, which post was it, id like to check it out. Im gettin a little better than 20 with my tune on the HWY. But id rather post conserative average numbers.

I know Matt is working with Kem but i thought Kem was more for the lighter performance and better milage were Matt was for the higher end performance.

Maybe it was a 120hp tune. I know that julian aka twinturbostroker said he was gettin around 23 and I think strokin49's said he was gettin over 20 and there was one more guy that said it but I cant remember his name.

Sanddemon how do you like the flashpaq? Is it the kind were you have to plug it in every time you tune it? I have never seen one. My dad is thinking about getting that with spartan tunes, and dpf delete.
