No, I did mean the hood....there's only a slot there in the middle.........so I was curious how they attach. The Ford badge has spring clips that fit into a couple of holes up front on the flat section.

The truck in your picture is looking good! What color is the red/maroon?

 

Snowking, thanks for the pic - I 2nd the looking good. Someone in my truck's past life, painted it maroon, also - really hosed it on, inside and out!



At first, I was going to redo it all, before I ever even thought about getting it drivable. I've since changed my attitude, and I'm going to get it running and stopping by summer. I am planning on painting the fenders, front, and runningboards black, like yours, but I'm going to make an attempt to "weather" the black, to match the weathered maroon. then, down the road I hope to end up with a two-tone somewhat olive green, lighter on top.



I'll be painting the grill, the correct argent, or possibly a cream.
