Rear main seal on '87 460: one piece or two piece??

My '87 F250 with a 460 is starting to leak oil from the rear main seal. I have heard from several sources that in '87, Ford started with a 2-piece rear seal and then switched to a 1-piece seal.

My question: How do I tell what kind of seal I have without pulling things apart? I'm hoping it's a two piece, because it looks easier to replace.

Any help would be appreciated!

The 460 used a two peice design from 73-98. The 351 and the 302 went to a one peice design in 87 and 85 respectivly, but not the 460.
