The Town Car is not a luxury sedan, it is a mobile coffin. Very elderly people drive them to get used to the numb plush feeling they will get in their caskets.

There are so many better sedans out there than a Town Car that it could take hours to name them all and the advantages they have over the Town Car.

Of course the lincolns powertrain lasts longer. That pavement pounding 239hp V8 isn't in danger of overstressing any compnents. The only thing more anemic and wheezing than a Town Car's engine are it's occupants.

When someone mentions Lincoln Town Car I picture a pair of bodiless knuckles behind the wheel of one running down and crushing hippies at a farmers market!

Cadillac is where Jaguar wishes it was and Lincolns are for people who will most likely be dead within 5 years. Which kinda throws brand loyalty out the window.

Why would a Taxi in NYC that cant go more that a few feet at a time in traffic need 500+hp anyway?
