1969 f100 steering column wiring

Hello can anybody help me I have a 1969 f100 2wheel drive that had a three speed column in it and I just put in a new ididit column with no shifter in the column. I need to know if anybody knows what each wire in the two plugs from my old column go to. I have two plugs a large one with 5 wires and a small one with 2 wires. thanks

Nothing like purchasing a new direct fit product that uses GM connectors.

You need a wiring Schematic to adapt over. They are avalible at most site sponsors.

I see you also posted over in the 67 to 72 section. They should be able to help with a diagram or colors.

I had a serious argument with the owner of IDIDIT at the F100 super nationals over the use of the GM connector. made no sense to me why offer a replacement collum that did not have the correct ends. They purchase all GM turn signal and hazard switch for their products hence the GM end...... Cant change it.

I was told that if someone wanted their collum then they can very well switch over to a after market GM based wiring harness...Little do they know the ford loyalty.

Scrounge around on line for a GM color code on the turn signal switch GM used the same wire order forever.

IDIDIT should have included a crossover diagram to assist.
