Almost certainly a problem in the tires or wheels. You may have to buy tires to get rid of it.

Does it vibrate/shake everytime you drive it? Next time it does it, check to see if one of the rear wheels is hot to the touch. You could have your parking brake hanging up on you. This causes a nasty vibration.

Thought I would throw that out there. I had a hanging parking brake, and it caused a nasty vibration. Is the vibration you are experiencing felt primarily in the steering wheel or more in the seat? Can't help you with the TSB for pinion angle on this vehicle, sorry. Has the vibration always been there?

I had a vibration on my 07, the final fix was road force balancing the tires to get rid of it. They had balanced my tires twice with no luck, I was thinking that it was drivetrain related. The last time they road force balanced my tires and it is fixed now.

Good luck.

Vibe is more in the seat you can actually look in the rearview mirrior and see the whole bed of the truck bounceing and viberating up and down ,but only does it at between 55 and 60 whether in o/d or not .Been there since I bought the truck this summer took it back to the dealer they put a new driveshaft in it helped it some but seems to be getting worse now ...

Mine was fairly bad, I thought for sure it was a seizing u-joint. The road force fixed it.

In your case one way to eliminate the tires would be to move the rear tires to the front. If it is the tires this should move the vibration to the steering wheel / floor pan. Process of elimination I guess. Its tough to diagnose a 4x4 for highway vibration.

I had the same problem with my 06. The dealer force balanced my first set of continentals. The dealer then replaced them with another set and force balanced them, the vibration and bed bounce was gone.. I had no problem with the second set until a few months ago...

The bed bounce and vibration was back.. I checked the tire pressure and it was 4 psi low. (Sometimes my truck sits for a month between outtings.) I aired them to the correct pressure and the vibration and bounce were gone again..

I have this exact same issue with my 05 scab fx4. Dealer is trying to blame it on my aftermarket exhaust system.

I'm going to suggest a force balance... I am giving it to them again in the morning for a second shot at fixing the problem.
