Will this 460 engine produce close to 500 HP-
-.060 overbore
-forged pistons
-10.5:1 compression
-Ported DOVE or similar heads
-CJ sized valves
-Radical cam with .600"+- of exh./int. lift
-Edelbrock Victor Jr. intake
-Edelbrock 800 CFM carb
-MSD ignition

 

That'll get you well over 500hp. .600 plus cam lift and the head work will put you in the 6500+rpm range, so use good rods. I do think you're undercarbed for that combo.

 

Yea, I wasn't sure about the carb. I guess a 1050CFM Demon would be better. Thanks, Jake.
