Why does my 2000 Expedition gauges max out every time I start the truck. In another post I read this indicated the computer was reset. Does it have to do it every time?

Your battery is about to die or the battery terminal connectors are corroded or loose.

Or it could be the alternator.

It is the battery getting older. Time to look for a new one.

Smile 2000 Expedition gauges

Thank you all for the replies. I pulled my battery yesterday and put it on the charger but the best I could get was a yellow in the view window. I'm heading today to get a new one. Great site. I also have a Ranger so I might be posting on it before you know it.
