This is my first F150 and I hope it is in it for the long haul. I just got out of an 04 Explorer that had some tranny and rear differential issues.

All was well last night until someone egged my truck while we were at a local Mexican restaraunt. Left a small mark on the front driver fender. i have a guy here that is going to repair this for me.

 

congrats on the F150...I have 07 as well but with the 5.4 man its a beast runs great, i also had a tranny problem with my 02 explorer...but as for the 07 f150 not a problem yet knock on wood...good luck!

 

What kind of break in period did you put yours thru?? I have heard people say to baby it until 500 miles then get a little more aggressive with it to help seat the rings.

 

when u break in your vehicle you always want to change your driving patterns, i would speed up slow and there were times i romped on it till she stop gaining...fast truck loads of power she has 9200 miles and runs great!!!

 

egged a brand new truck??? Geeeeeezzz I'd have someone hind end on my mantle piece!

 

Damn lucky that I didn't catch them.....I may have had a long night in jail.
