First Sled Pull! check it out
This weekend I competed in my first sled pull. Wasn't sure what to do, so I just put it to the floor. Got 35 swampers and Matt's agg race tune. Made my own hitch and traction bars. I still need to figure out how to start correctly so that my truck isn't hoppin so bad. The track was as hard as asphalt- may have had something to do with it. Anyways, it was awsome!

Nice videos
Should be in competition but I will leave it here...
Lift kits and pulling are not the best set up.....not sure what you have but the front end needs to stay low.
Locker up front
Clamp the rear springs, forward of the rear axle
Make a plate from the frame to the spring perch (both sides) with a 1 inch travel, play with the distance. This allows the rear springs to only compress 1 inch and locks the truck down. The sled becomes a good lever to put weight on your truck and the track.

The reason for the single stack rather than the double is that the double stack costs hp because you are spliting the air and making unwanted back pressure. Otherwise 2 actually looks better. JMO
FYI, a guy running a T (not a Y) on a 1000rwhp truck found 60 hp just taking the T out and running a single. Where else can you pick up 6% that easy? It would be less with a Y, but the concept is the same.
