Good Fuel Pressure

I bought a pressure regulator from my local autozone to see if it would prevent a chance of flood while offroading. And what i was wondering what is a good psi to run on the regulator. The range off the reg is 1 to 5.5. My motor is a 400 with edelbrock 1406.

I used to run a Carter Electric fuel pump that was internally regulated at 5psi. I think that is a good fuel pressure for an Edlebrock carb.

BTW, you should install an off-road needle and seat, if you haven't done that already.
