I personally now recommend the Kumho over the Toyo...though both great tires.

Well now im sold on a set of those and a DR lift. I should probally make a new thread askin this but why not just ask here. If i was going with a DR 8" lift for an 01 f350 how do i calculate the backspacing and offset of a wheel so it will not hit the springs? tires will probally a 37" Kumho MT on some 20" rim<--- thats what im trying to figure out.

You will need 20x10s with 4.5" backspacing for 37s. There are a few 3.75-4" backspace wheels out there (JJ Lawless 8s for example) which would pull the tires out a little further from the springs.

Marty listed the perfect setup....this is about what you are looking at. It is an 02 with 37 kumhos on 20x10s with 4.5" backspacing.

Only difference is it no longer has leafs.

If you want wide.....go with a 38/15.50 under a 8" lift. I have a 8.5" DR with 38/15.50R20 DC Muds on 20x10 Welds....they look pretty beefy....

Oh yeah, but I did limit my steering to prevent catching the springs.

Don't forget your really sweet custom bumper which provides additional clearance.

Oh yeah, that's right......I *reshaped* the lower corners of the front bumper to keep the tires from catching them.
Allowed me to cram the 40s before these.

It is my front bumper.....i.e. I made it.

Made one for my 07 as well:

They are just modified stock bumpers.

Thanks for the compliment.

Marty whats the width of these rims & tires?

The pic makes the tires look narrow....

The tires are 37x13.5x20. Not sure the width on the rim but I would guess they are 20x10.

Would I use 20x10's or 20x8's for 35's with the 4.5 kit?

Getting close to pulling the trigger on this....
