Ford Super Duty XL Bench Seat

Ford Super Duty XL Bench Seat
Have broken springs in my 200 F-250XL bench seat. Truck is in Hawaii. Upholsery shops here on my Island won't touch it. Ship a new seat in from the dealer, more than Truck is worth. Before taking it a part sure could use some advice on how to fix the springs, repadding and seat covering.
Thanks

Recovering or stripping an old school bench seat is pretty easy. I did the bench on my 74' F-100 several years ago. The new seats use plastic clips which make it easier to put back together. They may still use some hog rings, I'm not sure.
I would carefully take the seat cover off and the foam off down to the bare frame. A good welder can easily TIG weld the spring ends back together in short order. Seat springs usually arn't that hard so they should hold for a while without snapping.
I do not see the big deal about your seat why an upolstry shop couldn't fix it for you.
Reassemble the seat in the order you took it apart in.
