No help here on the f600 box. ND a f600 box in a f100 is like making a chevette into a caddy. The larger box makes them drive so much nicer. The only problem is they are larger and sometimes interfer with engine choices. If you look up in your books it shows a 90 degree adapter for the oil filter for the y blocks in a f600 and this is to cure the clearance problems.

I have the complete steering column for your 60 F 600 truck, the only one i have, I will check the Gemmer casting number 4CC25 that numberdummy gave on saturday, i dont know what it would cost to ship it, but might be easier to box up if i remove the steering wheel. if you want to call my cell # is (209)769-4058 Jess

steering gear, help! numberdummy
Hay numberdummy i checked the gear box that i think is for an F 600 that wademo is looking for, the Gemmer part # is GDC43 what do you make of this #??. Hay wademo! i have a few more gear boxes i will check for one to see if it has the part # 4CC25 that bill gave and let you know what i find, this GDC 43 box is a lot lot bigger than the avrage pickup gear box. maybe out of an f 700?

Hey you wouldn't happen to have a 5.83/8.11:1 ring and pinion for a 2 speed out there laying around would you?(or a 2 speed for that matter)

Hi Rick,
your looking for the 1 1/2 or 2 ton type 2 sp rearend?? it is possible that i have it, 5.83/8.11:1... are you looking for just the pumpkin or the whole rearend?
out of the 7 rearends that i have spare 1 might be what you are looking for.
