ok, as i sit right now, im about 6'4" overhead geight clearance.... give or take an inch or two.... its kinda hard to get a real accurate measurement. but my door is 7 feet tall (which is very common), so you should be fine. hope this helps some.

good call, when I lifted my Bronco, I did it inside the garage. I forgot about the whole change in altitude. Guess my surprise when I put the wheels on and the top of the cab caught the garage door. lucklily I had some old steel rims sitting around and was able to roll out on them

my FX4 sits almost 7' tall with a 2.5" leveling kit and the stock 32" tires. luckily my garage is over 7' tall

this reminds me of a time when i rebuilt a dodge engine, and installed a leveling kit while the engine was out..... i was just using a regular cherry picker, and well, in order to get the engine back in i had to let the air out of both tires..... funny now, but not then !!

Another example of putting the cart before the horse!
and here I thought I was the only one with that problem.

the 2 will level it pretty good, and the 2.5 usually needs an add-a-leaf also. but most that tow a bunch choose the 2" so that it doesnt sit nose up while towing. its really a matter of personal preference. with mine, i have the 2.5", and if i let the air out of my airbags, it will sit front up just a little..... so i keep the bags aired a little to help with it.

I did the 2.5" with no add a leaf and no airbags and I think I set pretty damn level. You can see a pic in my gallery.

Oh I agree but I hardly ever tow a trailer...I pretty much just haul around my dog box and my dirtbike and that is about it. I'd rather be level 90% of the time, no towing, then level 10% of the time when towing.

how much were these steel "haulers"?? i've been looking for a cheap black godo looking steel rim (like that) for these trucks and can't find much this setup looks badass to say the least!

i just ordered my leveling kit, and since it was only $12 extra, i splurged for the powder coating. i figured it could only help, and not hurt, so why not.

didn't see the point. it's a solid puck of steel. it'll develop a coat of rust and then pretty much stop rusting...just like your frame and other various metal parts underneath.

paid $89 for mine shipped off of eBay. Make sure to get the Autosprings one. there is a reason it's one of the best selling leveling kits.
