my FX4 sits almost 7' tall with a 2.5" leveling kit and the stock 32" tires. luckily my garage is over 7' tall

this reminds me of a time when i rebuilt a dodge engine, and installed a leveling kit while the engine was out..... i was just using a regular cherry picker, and well, in order to get the engine back in i had to let the air out of both tires..... funny now, but not then !!

Another example of putting the cart before the horse!
and here I thought I was the only one with that problem.

the 2 will level it pretty good, and the 2.5 usually needs an add-a-leaf also. but most that tow a bunch choose the 2" so that it doesnt sit nose up while towing. its really a matter of personal preference. with mine, i have the 2.5", and if i let the air out of my airbags, it will sit front up just a little..... so i keep the bags aired a little to help with it.

didn't see the point. it's a solid puck of steel. it'll develop a coat of rust and then pretty much stop rusting...just like your frame and other various metal parts underneath.
paid $89 for mine shipped off of eBay. Make sure to get the Autosprings one. there is a reason it's one of the best selling leveling kits.
