exhast leak ??

exhast leak ??

my 352 4v has a bad exhast leak on the driverside head. guy i got it from broke bolts off. my ? is has any one heard of decking the exhast ports on a fe and if it works gonna get headers soon so no more mans.

Best to take the heads off to get the broken bolts out, so decking would be a viable idea at that time.

Just a light buffing.

I had to drill three broken bollts on my 390 and retap them took six hours to pull engine out drill and reroute the coolate lines for the tranny and put it back in the truck

Anytime I have even a hint of an exhaust leak and the heads are off I alway have the exhaust side "decked" or level cut, along with the exhaust manifolds too.
