Wow . A picture is worth 1000 words, but do tell on the details.

If you dont fix it, you wont need to trailer the boat anymore.

I'm taking my boat down to the coast today. I'm glad that I'll be relying on my inferior Ford brakes.

Hope no one was hurt. I know that was a brand new truck, so that's gotta hurt in different kind of way.

Holy spit!

Not only does it confirm the brake issue, it also confirms the weak frame arguement also. Look at how well the truck frame is handling the weight of the boat! Albeit the trailer still has the majority of weight on it.

I don't know about those gaps between the body panels though. They do look abit large.

Just waiting on someone to chime and explain how the F150 would have faired better in this incidence.....

What do you mean look how well the frame is handling it? You can see how the truck is bowing in the middle. And look at the condition of that boat, I bet it'll still float! The truck got mangled. If it was a Ford, the boat would be in pieces along the highway. There MIGHT be a ding on the tailgate, depends on what kind of mood the truck was in. If there was a ding, the truck would probably be so angry that it would tear apart the trailer and send pieces of it flying too. Yeah...if that was a Ford that picture would be totally different.

(I sure do have a vivid imagination, don't I? )

This was on I-75 in the Wesley Chapel/Tampa Bay area. I live about 15 mins from here and heard all about it. Can't remember how much damage was done to the truck, but the truck did hit somebody in front of him. Honestly, it doesn't look all that bad if you ask me.

I dont understand how it managed that? It appears to have been strapped in that back not to mention it had to of broke the post at the front of the trailer and those things are pretty stout.

Goes to show you that a pontoon boat is faster than a Tundra.
