Triton V10 Tune-Up
How do I perform a tune up for 2004 Triton V10?
The reason I wish to so this myself is because I am living in a 2004 Fleetwood Fiesta 32s and I do not like moving my home to a shop and also where would I wait? This is my home.
<O
I wish to:
Change the oil
New spark plugs
New wires
<O</O
Any other suggestions are appreciated.

Fuel and Air filters come to mind.
There are no sparkplug wires, the V10 has the COP(coil on plug). You may need to replace a COP due to a torn boot when removing them from the plug. The passenger side rear plug isn't going to be an easy swap, just take your time and everything will get done.

Change the plugs. Inspect and replace COPs as needed.
Change oil, filter and lube.
Inspect/replace air filter.
Inspect/replace PVC valve.
Clean MAF sensor.
Clean intake manifold downstream of PVC with carb cleaner.
Run a can of Seafoam through fuel system to clean.
Replace fuel filter.
Because you live in this vehicle, I am guessing it is stationary for extended periods of time. Please use a fuel stabilizer in the vehicle. I have a theory about V-10s that sit idle for a few weeks, bad gasoline making the fuel injector stick open, hydrolocking the engine. The V-10 will destroy itself (due to the torque at a low RPM) when this happens.

Matter of fact, in the V10 forum, we suggest you replace ALL the boots when doing a plug change.
Drop by the V10 forum and read up - there's plenty of posts in there about this very topic.
Oh, and WELCOME to FTE!
