Took the old Radio Shack SPL meter on my commute today.

Measured 64-65db SPL at 65mph from the driver seat. This is with the radio and air off.

Put the meter 1" away from the drivers window closest to the mirror. 72-73db at the same speed.


I am going to try my girlfriends Toyota Corolla and see how it compares.

I used the slow response to slow and used the A weighting. 500-10,000hz.
