Need Custom Driveshaft
So this is pretty self explanitory, I need a custom D-shaft for my f-150 thanks to my custom 8" double main leaves in the back. Anyone ever had a custom d-shaft made? I'm looking for a company near Ottawa or Cornwall (I'm inbetween) preferably. also anything I special I should consider or look out for?
Thanks loads

I had a custom drive shaft made for my bronco one time. who i used was 401 mack dealer here in windsor but what i would do if i were you would be go see one of the big truck shops and ask them who is good to use . Also talk with them about the drive shaft length and angles as i have heard that a drive shaft length should be no longer then .... i am not sure what the length is but at that length you need to look at putting in hangers.
hope that helps some

Try and find a drive train shop that specializes in axles, differential etc. A 4x4 shop could at least recommend someone if they can't do it.
Or maybe you can find a longer one and have shortend? I had my drive shaft shortend by a local shop in Pickering, great guy. Cost me 75 bucks including two new u joints!

thanks for the info. I'm gonna check out a place called Malemberg Truck and Trailer they do a lot of work on big rigs and heavy equipment. They made my custom leaf springs and I had really good service so I'm gonna give em a call.
I'll post the results for anyone that's interested.
Thanks
