Always nice to be complimented.
I couldn't believe my eyes!
The other day driving around town, a couple of teenage guys pulled along side me in my V10 F350 4x4 CC. They were zipping along in one of those suped-up little Japanese racing things that seems to be the fast and furious rage these days.
Both of the guys were grinning and yelling at me. I initally thought they wanted to race. GROAN! I then looked to see what they were up to and realized they were enthusiastically commenting me on my nice truck. I smiled and yelled "Thanks!" They sped off...passing a Chevy HD ahead of me without a glance! :P
Could there be closet SD lovers everywhere?

Ya gotta love it. I was sitting in a parking lot last weekend wtg for my son to get a movie rental and a guy walked in frt of my trk, in a smiling stare. I thought he was gonna trip on the curb going in to the store. he never took his eyes off the trk, smiling. I said to my wife, what the hell is he starring at? She said the truck....dummy!!

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 05-Jun-02 AT 09:18 PM (EST)]Feels good,doesn't it.
I had the attendant at the local Sams gas pumps give my SD a good hard stare when I pulled in.He walked up and said "man that's a NIIIICE truck" and then did a complete walkaround without ever taking his eyes off of it.I also just had the neighbor compliment the truck, saying how it just looked good and that the V-10 sounded great every time I drove off and shifted gears at about 3300rpm.
The SD is an eye grabber. Not too gawdy either.
I take no credit (other than choosing MT wheels)in the good looks and sound of my SD.The Ford designers, engineers and auto workers deserve the credit. It's "just" a matter of paying for one.
Just my .02
