I would recommend a closed air intake that draws air from the fenderwell, not heated air like the open element ones do. Look at something like Outlaw Power. I have one of theirs. I think Volant offers one too. Cooler air means more power.
Does Edelbrock still offer these for our trucks? I thought that they discontinued them, but I could be wrong.
You didn't mention what year or engine that you have.
