Good question > I am going to switch my truck from grey to red and never thought about that . I know I have seen left in truck that had interior taken out. I'll be looking this week when I pick up parts .

Hey got rained out at work so I when and play in rain at wreckers. I had to get parts for fellow FTE Guys any way . The panel is held on with 6-10 plastic plugs like you said. I took red interior out of truck out there for mine (hate the gary) if I can find red buckets .And had to pull it any way. Good luck
Oh I used a small flat pry bar and worked them out. Later
