Great weekend Topic: Are you hardcore??

This topic came up at work recently. we determined that being hardcore means different things to different people.

Merrian webster defines it as
Main Entry: hard core
Function: noun
1 : a central or fundamental and usually enduring group or part: as a : a relatively small enduring core of society marked by apparent resistance to change or inability to escape a persistent wretched condition (as poverty or chronic unemployment) b : a militant or fiercely loyal faction
2 usually hard·core /-"kOr, -"kor/ chiefly British : hard material in pieces (as broken bricks or stone) used as a bottom (as in making roads and in foundations)
So thats my question. how are you hardcore? do you work 80 hours a week? did you hike off a mountian with 2 broken legs? have you survived all odds? are you in the millitary? do you post 20 times a day on FTE?

Interesting definitions... I agree with magee ~ If I had known I was gonna live this long, I would have taken MUCH better care of myself!

Like Brad Paisley says, "I'm much cooler online." You can call me hardcore, too! I chop down tress with a single swing of the ax, I can change a flat tire without using a jack, I can train a dog to point, fetch and clean up his own doo-doo in less than a day. And if you believe all that, I got some swamp land in Arizona for ya- cheap!

I'm a hardcore earth counter-weight and....... that's being a tool I guess

20 posts a day on FTE... No Problem......highest was once 120+.

I used to be able to stop a freight train with a single spit........I needed to unplug the transformer right after though.

The only way I could be more hardcore than what I am, is if I owned a beer distributor.

Hardcore? Good question.
I don't consider myself any by the definitions. Wife, boss and friends think I am. With 6 kids 4 of which are girls, 2 jobs, side work, and starting back to school this fall.

I think I fall under definition 1b - in a good way. Anyone who knows me knows that I am loyal to a fault to anyone I consider a friend and any cause I believe in.

I also have some tapes hidden in my garage that are DEFINITELY hard core!
