SES Light question
The other day I had my SES light come on in my truck. Other than a little bit of a stutter at certain speeds/rpms which it's been doing for quite a while and I attribute to a bad torque converter, it seems to run fine. A friend of mine works at a body shop and I was going to take it to him and have the code scanned and see what it was, but the next day when I fired it up in the morning the SES light didn't come on. So I figured it was just some glitch or momentary bad sensor reading that threw a code and now it's back to normal. However on the way into work this morning I got to thinking... what if the SES light was just burned out? So I turned the truck off and fired it back up to see if it comes on during the instrument test. It flashes ever so briefly, maybe a tenth of a second, if that. Then goes back out again.
So I was wondering, can someone check that next time they fire theirs up to see if theres does the same thing?
