Wink Several Questions?

I've seen E-fans for F150's now my question is what benefit does this fan do for my truck? Is it easy to install or should i contact a mechanic?

Around what mileage do yall guys change your gas filter, and whats a really good gas filter? Can, i install it myself or should i contact a mechanic?

Morevoer, i was cleaning my K&N air filter yesterday, and noticed a small chip inside my air intake, exactly what is this small gadget? Could it be my MAF sensor?? Im lost?

I had'nt bought any type of floor matts for my truck since, i've had it; any recommendations on what are really good all weather purpose floor matts. I've been running some cheap 'o floor matts i bought from walmart, lol...but they have been holding up, but of course i don't know how much longer?

i changed my fuel filter about 2 weeks ago. it was dirty and i have 42k on the truck. easy to do as long as you get the fuel line disconnect tool for like 7bucks at advance. shouldnt take more than 15minutes to do(search -- there is a write up on here on how to do it). as for floor mats i have had husky liners in all my trucks and love them. weathertechs are nice as well.

The write up on changing the fuel filter is to be found in the 'articles/specs' section which can be accessed from the menu's at the very top of the page just below the FTE banner

Read these threads they will help you with e-fans. I only use motorcraft when it comes to filters and oil.
