Same here. Looked at a GMC duramax. But the interiors didnt
catch my eye like the King Ranch. Exterior either. GM needs to offer
some up level pkg (like the North Face, had a Avalanche). Ford just
has a good combo in both the 150 and Super Duties with the King
Ranch and Harley's

Well, guys, I learned something today about the '08 Powerstrokes. If the engine has to be worked on, the cab has to be removed--the bolts are removed and the entire cab is hoisted above the frame and drivetrain. All the wiring, etc. is dangling below the cab. This had to be done just to correct a faulty connection! Interesting, huh?

I love my 2008 F350 CC 6.4L. If the interior doesn't sell you, try out that tailgate step. Who doesn't love that!! This truck is far superior over my 2003 F250 5.4L. The grille grows on you and it really makes it look grown up.

has anyone pulled a big load with these yet? I know my 6.0 isn't the badest on the streets but it holds its own. I personnaly think my old mans 7.3 does better pulling than mine. How are the 6.4s?

Have'nt done any pulling yet but I plan to purchase a travel trailer soon and I'll let you know. I had a 7.3 also and it pulled well but, didn't seem to have the tork of the 6.4.

All I know is I want one. I test drove an '08 XLT diesel and from inside you couldn't tell it was a diesel. It was very quiet and has as much get up and go as my '05 F-250 V10. Even the salesman seemed surprised. Perhaps I shouldn't of floored it on the interstate .

So far no negatives have come from the 6.4, except the flame throwers (which I think was a killer option!) and a small assembly problem where some injectors were wired incorrectly.

By this time in it's lifecycle the 6.0 was having the injector problems.

The first 6.4 PSDs would emit flames from the tailpipe during regen mode. That has been corrected, minor problem, but I thought it was bitchin'.

You can see it on this video
