Question 2007 Power folding mirrors

I have a 2007 F-150 Lariat. I would like to replace the mirrors with the factory power folding mirrors (it is too wide to fit through the garage door without folding them in). Can I do this with the existing switches and wiring?

As far as I understand, No. I believe you need the control module, few more wires and maybe a new switch if they don’t use a generic one.

Sounds like a real PITA....

Just get one of those grabby thingies to reach across the cab with and pull the other one in!

First, you need the mirrors, which will set you back ~$700 for the pair (discounted price!), then you need the power folding module. If you have a SCrew, there's a half a chance that the necessary wiring is in the harness so you could just plug the module in and get it to work. If you have a SCab, then you're SOL and will need a spare mirror plug to canibalize the necessary pins from to put into your plugs with some wires that you will have to run to get everything connected.

You need the wiring diagram if you really want to pull it off. I'm going to attempt it some day, but not any time too soon. If you could find a KR in the junk yard, that would make it quite a bit easier.
