I'll say it again, awesome truck! Does anyone know if the body on the F350's are the same or different than the F450's? Here in NY, they won't allow us to register an F450 with passenger plates, so I have to go with an F350. But I want to know if the F350 will look exactly like the F450.

The F-350 will not have the fender flares on the front.

Thanks, I took a careful look at the brochure and see what you mean. I also took a look at the new Job#2 changes effective 7/30 and one of the available options will be (67W) Wide Track Front Suspension which is a wider front axle and coil spring monobeam. You think that might mandate the use of a fender flare?

Good point...they are probably putting the F-450 front axel in and yes that would seem to require the flares

It is illegal for any manufacture (or individual for that matter) to build / modify a vehical where the tires stick out past the fender line for on hiway use. So yes, Ford will include flares / rubber flares / flared fenders / etc to stay within the law as laid down by the DOT.

I personally loike the look of the older 1 tons with the wider front axles and the factory flared front fenders. I have to believe that it will be a good look on the current rigs

Sounds real good. I hope that's the way Ford will go with this. I'm glad I came across the Job#2. I have July 30. booked in my calendar to go to the dealer to put my order in!

Maybe Ford figured out one of the reason the 450s are exceeding sales expectations is because they turn sharper, so now perhaps you can option your 350 to turn as sharp?

Not to mention that the front ends look so much better with the flares on it as they make the headlights less obnoxious!!!!!

I absolutely agree. A few months ago I hated the look of the 08's with the new headlights. Now I guess I have grown to like them. Or maybe better to say... accept them. Maybe Ford will have some pics avalable of an '08 F350 with the new wide track axle come end of July. Hopefully it will be a mirror image of the F450.
