Something tells me the new F-150 won't be as "love it or hate it" as the new Super Duty is. I think it'll have a good, solid appearance.

At least it looks like they kept the wheel openings on the front and rear fenders round. I think it looks dumb when they make them square (like chevy) or odd looking (like toyota)

Wonder if you could swap the '06 headlights with this new '09 headlight assembly. I'd much prefer that style, but just by the looks it doesn't look like they'll swap.

FTE Staff note: DO NOT UPLOAD IMAGES INTO OUR GALLERIES THAT YOU DO NOT HAVE RIGHTS TO!
Sorry. Looked all around the site and finally found this buried deep in the guidelines:

"Photos from other web sites or which you do not have permission from the copyright owner are not permitted."

Seems a little restrictive since it's allowable on many other sites I frequent, but I don't make the guidelines and don't visit this site regularly. Maybe adding this to the Photo Upload page would curtail this from happening again, just a thought.

Here's some more info on the '09 F150. Way too many buttons on the dash and how would you install an aftermarket deck?

Now I like the sound of this "Boss" 6.2L, just hope they install some massive brakes to stop this beast!

Talking

How hurtful! Saying a proposed Ford truck resembles a Chevy. Just the image of the Avalanche is painful to my eyes. That plastic-armored eyesore!

I've seen a hood bra before but this one is ridiculous. Covers it from bumper to bumper - they'll be no paint dings in that truck.

Just now seeing the photos and it appears they are still using the existing frame and possibly the interior. Are they doing just a sheetmetal/ drive line upgrade or a complete new vehicle from a clean sheet of paper?
