I'm alive cuz I was wearing a seatbelt when that drunk hit me.

The same car ('54 Olds HT), 6 months earlier = a fading Hollywood star in a new Lincoln convertible sedan ran a red light and I t-boned her "'Stinkin' Linkin" at 35 mph. Both of us were unhurt, cuz both of us were belted. The "Linkin" was totaled, the Olds needed a new hood. Now I axe you, why don't you wear a belt?

because they are uncomfortable. now when i went down to Tenessee last yesterday and i drove the new Dodge. i wore one.. as i was traveling at a high rate of speed. but in my 88 f150 which is my daily driver.. what's it going to protect.. the damn thing doesn't even fit me right.. its actually pretty much annoying and in the way.and would do me any benefit in a crash.. and besides i just told you it wasn't Illegal until June 1, 2007 to not wear seatbelts in a pickup or a suv/van with truck plates.. so why wear something i hate if i don't have to?

I remember that Bronco well, OJ took delivery of it from SMF, who at that time had the Hertz account. He was there several times, before the killings doing his "glad hand act." He came by once after he was acquitted...no one axed him for his autograph! My mom lived a 1/2 block away from the condo, where it all went down. The condo is kitty-corner across the street from the NE corner of Dorothy Street and Bundy Drive in Brentwood. They revamped the front of the place and changed the address, to keep away the morbid lookie-loos, but forgot to change the address painted on the curb.

You went to Tennessee last yesterday? Was that before the after noon or after the before noon?

Did'ja happen to look on the B pillar on your 88, and see if the belt is adjustable for height? I had a branny new 88 F150 Lariat, and the belt fit me, and I'm 6-5, so I axe you, what's your problemo?

What's the seatbelt in your daily driver gonna protect? You don't need a crystal ball to KNOW the answer to that question...YOU!

4AM? It's only 1 something here in LA LA Land. And, you brought it upon yourself nephew, by posting those wreck pics. You knew that DOHC and I would respond.

5 mile run? Aren't you lucky...I can barely do a 5 second run.

yes i am. atleast i got one talent to showforth. lol well think back when you were a kid.. you could do five miles then couldn't you.. judging by the looks of my dad when i'm 40 i wont be able to either. as they say the apple doesn't fall to far from the tree
It's funny what can motivate a person. Standing on concrete for nearly 40 years has taken its toll. Walking is something most ppl take for granted. Then you become disabled, and making it to Los Banos is a challenge. But, when I travel to London, it's a different story. London is flat, and is a city where one has to walk to see the sites. I can be a kid again..because the one thing European hotels have that they don't have here...bathtubs fit for a king. A long soak takes away the pain, and I'm ready to do it all over again the next day.
