I am not anti-japanese, I am pro-American, and yes I do feel a little betrayed because I know it is well within our capabilities to produce vehicles just as good if not better than anyone!!! That includes *****, Japanese, or Facist Italians!

Yes, America is the greatest country in the world (sorry Smiggs) but to be so loyal to a company that would sell your job to some Hindu(?) in India is bordering on ignorant.

During WWII, the Ford factory in Cologne, Germany built Fords for the Germans. The Ford factory in Singapore (after March 1942) and the Ford factory in Osaka, Japan built Fords for the Japanese. The factory in Dagenham, England built Fords for the Brits. And all the Ford factories in the US and Canada built Fords, Jeeps, and B-24 bombers for the Allied Powers.
Who said Ford wasn't an global company?
btw..GM did the same thing, except they didn't build Jeeps or B-24's. GM built Allison aircraft engines, Sherman tanks, and with Adam Opel Gmbh of Germany, a company owned by GM, kept the Germans supplied with trucks.
