1993 Ford Ranger 3.0L V6
On start-up my idle will surge until it warms-up(2 min.). I notice the voltage will drop when idle does. Any ideas?

I would have your charging system tested, it is a free test that Autozone will do. Does the drop in voltage seem significant, have you tested the actuall battery voltage with engine off and on? Is there a drain while when it returns to normal idle?
