'85 Bronco ignition problems

My Bronco with a 302 EFI runs great but has a hard time starting sometimes. One time it will crank right over on the first try and others it wont and if I wait a while it will go just fine. It doesnt matter if its hot or cold or how long its been running. Its slowly getting worse also. I check for spark when its being bad and there is none. Anybody have a clue?

You will want to change the TFI module for peace of mind, provided you verify that 12 volts is reaching the module & ign. coil during the start & run position of the ignition switch. If you do change the module, and you are up to it, change the pick-up coil also, which requires removal of the dist. from the engine. When you buy your module, purchase the tool to remove it also, which looks like a stubby screwdriver w/ a 5.5mm hex socket bit shaft.
