I hadn't seen that. The article is 7 years old now. Sure has been a lot of RR canola planted all over the world since then. We have a lot of the canola in our area that is RR and they are growing lots of it back in N. Dakota, too. It dominates the Canadian canola areas also. Have you seen much in your area??

 

I'm not sure what significance this article really has. The investigator supposedly recovered the gene from the bacteria in the stomach's of bees who had fed and collected the gm pollen. The recovery frequency was extremely low and unless proper precautions to avoid contamination were taken, it could be nothing more than a contaminant. I'll have to read the paper before further comment, but unless the gene was recovered from subsequent generations of bacteria, indicating that it has been added and is replicating in the E. Coli genome, it has no real significance.
