What have I gotten myself into... (dial up beware)

At first glance maybe, but the more I crawl around it, the more cancer I find. The right rear cab corner has an old chicken-wire and bondo repair (gee thanks, dad), the grill is pretty much unattached to the radiator support all the way across the bottom, and there are a few thin places in the frame rails where iron termites have attacked it. Could be that I do a frame swap at some point down the road. Dropping the '58 cab and body (leaving it looking just like it is, mind you) on a wrecked 4wd F350 chassis with in a 12v cummins and a 6 speed would be pretty sweet. I don't know... just thinking out loud.

With my departure to Alaska for the season looming, I got in high gear and got the ol' rig in good enough shape to drive around. I did a few things I'm not exactly proud of and will have to be fixed before I try to put it on the road, but it moves under its own power for the first time in nearly 25 years!

Long story short: Life.
The truck is still down in Georgia but sitting out of the weather patiently waiting for me to continue working on it. I haven't been able to do anything beyond what you see in the video from 2010, but big plans are afoot for getting it back in the road for it's 60th birthday.
