I just recently bought a 78' Bronco with a 400, c6 trans & np205 transfer case. Being new to Fords, I'm trying to get familiar with interchangeability. I know that the 351m/400 engines have the same bell hsg. bolt pattern as the 429/460, so my question is this:
Is there a non computor operated o/d trans that was used with the 460 engine that I can swap into my Bronco to try to get a better milage. 8-10 mpg SUCKS!!!
