(16) 11/01/90 I 've done and experienced and gone more places than most of the kids my age. IT helps that my dads a truckdriver and takes us with him. been in trucks since I was 3 months old

WAGH!!!! Lookin' back readin' these posts I'm shocked! A bunch'a snot-nosed kids! Heck I got socks older most of you young whipper-snappers! By gum I got Depends older'n some of you tots! HAW!HAW!HAW! By Jimminie I got about the same number of teefs as some of you guys got years! ROTFLMBO! Well..it don't matter anyways. Ya'll seem to have a passion fer old Ford trucks and that's enough fer me to take ye under my wing and welcome ye home. Now don't be embarrased if I tossel yer hair and guv' ye a noogie and torment ya a bit about yer tender years. And don't ya'll be tellin' me about "all ya went thru at age 17/18/19/20!" Heck...ya ain't even dried behind the ears yet! (an old geezers phrase..you'll get there..) Stick around and us ole codgers will tell ye about when real Ford trucks had points ignition...3 speed shifts on the column and ca'buraters! Back then we had 8-track players..(Google it) and A.M. radios! Didn't have seat-belts back when I was 18! And mind ye, I don't drive without bucklin' up nowadays!! EVER! Bucket seats? Only in the Mustangs back in "The Days"! Gasoline was 29 cents a gallon when I was 18...warn't no minimum wage. I worked at Coke Domicos' Pool Hall fer 50 cents an hr. racking ***** in Curwensville. Delivered newspapers to Bailey Rd./Naulton Rd./Temple Heights and all points north of town..made $4 a week and I was doin' better'n most! Me and Inez Whittaker could go down to the Civic Center and dance all night fer a 25 cent entry fee! Then go skinny-dippin' at Irwin Park fer free! (big giggle there..) Yup...I warn't always this old...I was young once. Hmmm...a cherry-coke at Gugliomis Drug Store was 25 cents back then...Deb Stuyack manned the counter at the Western Auto Store....Jeff Gates grand-father manned the counter of Gates Hardware Store! Jeff does it now. Row upon row of hardware and ladders to reach up to the top for simple things like nuts & bolts. I miss the simple life. Audie..lost in my thoughts...
