Hey folks, I noticed that alot of you were wondering about retro fitting the King Ranch interiors into your trucks. You can actually have your factory seats recovered in the saddle leather. If you use your current seats you dont have to worry about fit problems between year models.
If you plan on keeping your trucks I would suggest this route. Its not cheap, we charge around 3200 to 3900 but it looks great and is 100% leather. We also do King Ranch repair and recolor. I have 2008 F250 King Ranch with captain's chairs in the back - looking to do a straight swap with someone for a bench seat. My captain's chairs are in mint condition, rarely ever sat in since I have owned the truck and perfectly maintained. I have a 2006 F-250 King Ranch with the leather seats. They have faded so badly that nothing I do to them will bring them back to any thing close to original. Have any of you heard of any leather die or re-conditioning magic wand I can wave to make them better than they are.
My next stop is a saddle shop!

I would be satisfied with the stock buckets in my 1997 ford f-150 mine came with a bench seat which is kinda crappy does anyone have some stock seats for sale? Or know where I can get them.

 

Looked up "F-250 king ranch seats" and came up with this. So what is the final word on getting King Ranch/Lariat seats in a ford? Where should I look, how should I install them? Its my first ford truck to own by myself, so help would be much appreciated.

Just bought an '06 KR and the seats are FADED and Cracking. Ran down to Fleet Farm (any big farm store) and grabbed Saddle Soap! I got a damp sponge and lathered up that soap and went to town... One application so far and they are looking WAY better. I'll give it a couple more days and hit it again. Wish I would have done a before and after photo. But, I think keeping up with it for the first week by applying 3 coats will make that leather come back to life a bit... then should just need to do it a couple times a year afterwards.

Also, I get those front windows tinted if you don';t arleady... Sun on nice leather doesn't mix... My Lairat I had before with the plasteather was bad when i got that too. Bought some McGuires leather cleaner and leather treater and those at least stopped going to fell and I tinted the front windows right away too. They never got worse at least!

 

WOW I just looked at that website and its $2K for a King ranch driver seat... i think ill have better luck finding someone to reupholster my existing seats, center consol, and steering wheel with chapparal leather... the door panels on King Ranch door panels have some chapparal leather too right?

 

never mind it's $2000 for the whole King Ranch interior!!!!!! Holy ****** im down for that
