Droppin in again...

Hey, just wanted to drop in and let you know I am still around. Been crazy around here the past few days. Lot of moarters have been hitting around the base. We even had on hit the end of the flightline!! Talk about a crazy day. Other than that doing good over here. Rained the past 2 days so there is mud everywhere. Man I wish I had my truck!!! Been going crazy thinking of stuff to do to my truck. I am going to be on the hunt when I get back for some parts. I ordered a bunch of catalogs to find parts in. I need to find a new tailgate and the passenger side of the bed. Anyways, how has everone been? I hear it dot pretty cold there for a few days. Later.

Andy, keep your head down and come back to us. I admire you for your service to keep the rest of us free.

I wish you were working on a mid 90s Ford truck, I have a decent bed off of my 94 that I would give you. I have 2 beds off of 70s longbeds, but don't know if they are useable, they have been sitting on the ground for years full of parts.

Glad to hear you're still kicking. You are right, it was colder than a welldiggers **** here last weekend. Lows in the upper 20's.

If you don't mind Chinese steel there are tons of aftermarket body panels for the 73-79's. Far fewer choices if you want American steel.

Thanks mechmagcn, but I think the 90's bed will be better for 1996pwrstrk, mine is a 77. So if you got some of those parts layin around I might have to make a trip to your place!! I am shooting to keep as much of my truck American made as possible. ubereal2 I look forward to meeting you when I get back. Hopefully we can have another meet this summer. I appreciate all the support from you guys!

Good to hear from you again,

there's a guy in judsonia named Johnny Morris that has a salvage yard with several mid 70's pickups. Real nice guy, one of those guys that his parts get cheaper the longer you stand around and chit-chat.

let me know when you get back and I'll try to explain where its at, or I might even make a day of it and go up there with you. Haven't been there in a couple of years. If that doesn't pan out, theres a guy in plummerville that has a couple.

I'd me more than happy to go with you and help you pull one.

Joe, how far is that place from Cabot? I am still learning where everything is. We will have to head up that way when I get back. Did you ever check on that back window for me??

From Cabot, I'd say its about 35 - 40 minutes. Judsonia is about 5 miles north of Searcy. And this guy is up the highway a tad from the interstate.

No sorry, I never think to look at the back window in that truck. I'll try to remember to look at it next time I'm out there.
