Anyone know where to get full size truck bed panels so that I can swap out my rusted ones? I have a 1996 F150 4x4 beautiful truck except for those rusted wheel wells. I cab find patch repair panels for $60.00 per side, but would have to do a lot of cutting, welding and bondo.

Thanks for the quick reply. I am also working on LED lighting replacement for my 3rd brake light. I purchased one that has three red and three black wires, but not plug and play. So trying to figure if I can splice into the original wiring harness or not. I have read that I may lose my cruise control if I do so. Has anyone encountered this to be an issue? I am tempted to give it a try and if I lose my cruise control, I may have to purchase a much more expensive, anywhere from $50-100.00 more, brand that has plug and play. Thanks again

 

I own a 93 f350 4x4........i got it a couple years ago and havent used it much. the starter sounded bad so i changed it out. the new starter sounded worse and striped the starter drive. i figured out that the drive gear is not meshing deep enough in the ring gear. i talked to an old ford guy that told me he has seen offset bushings in some 460 starters to solve the problem. my engine is also a 460. i hope someone can help me. bill.

 

Bill, it would be best if you started a new thread in either this forum or the 385 Series/460 engine forum. Possibly titled: "Offset 460 Starter Bushing Question?" You'd probably get a lot more responses. This is a pretty old thread on an unrelated subject. Good luck.
