6" Lift. What Size Tires?

I am looking at getting a 6" lift. Can I fit 37s under that? They are 6" inches bigger than stock, so I would assume with a 6" lift it would be like stock (atleast on paper). I have to be careful with the lift laws here.

Yes I had a 6" skyjacker on my 01 v10 with 37-12.5r17 goodyear mtr, I lowered the bump stops and replaced them with the big red energy susp. ones.

37's on a 4" lift work great with stock wheel offset.

how about 37's with a 2" leveling lift? hehehe... with fiberglass fenders, of course ... I'm having a hard time finding pics of that setup, though...

Joey

p.s. a little off-topic, but I can't find the spot in the User CP to add a sig... anyone?

I have the 4.5" DR lift and Toyo MT 35"s and I think the tires look to small.

Mine is a 06 if that matters. I will do 37"s next time.

hell yeah, it would... I'm looking forward to slightly building my truck for the desert (thats all I have around here)... 2" lift, glass, 37's, dual Fox 2.0's w/ resis, 17x9s, and I'm good! by the way, have you guys seen any pics of trucks with 2" of lift and glass fenders? I might hit the swaybay before anything else... just got the springs in today, too ... the dual shock kit should be here this week... then buying the glass, then putting the wheels/tires on credit :S...

Joey, you can't add a sig until your post count reaches 20 or 30, I can't remember which. Hell it might be 25, I'm not sure. Keep posting, it's coming....

Thnks form all the comments. Now for tires. What is the best all around tire. This truck will probably be a street queen,. but I like the off road tire look. The catch is they have to be good to tow trailers with. Something like an E tire or one with a high load capacity.

I have been leaning towards the Toyos, so good to hear that other people have them. How loud are they on the highway?

993/4ton: I love your truck! How does the Pro Comp ride? What gears do you have? did you upgrade the brakes or do the stock ones do well? I have brand new stock brakes with under 500 miles on them on my truck. How do you like the Flowmaster 40 on the V10?
